The Resource Centre serves as the primary access point from which neighbours receive emergency relief and personal development services, as well as community programming, such as:
- Health Services (e.g. foot care clinic and first aid)
- Advocacy Support (e.g. employment, securing identification, housing)
- Relief Services (e.g. showers, laundry, food, clothing)
- Personal Services (e.g. haircuts, tax assistance, internet access)
- Community Programs (e.g. support groups and musical jam sessions)
“I love the Centre because it’s a community. The staff and volunteers know my name. I feel safe and at peace here.”
– Billie, formerly homeless neighbour
